the Great Unknown started in 2016 as a way to document the days since I quit my job, packed my things and moved to London — but really it started much earlier than that. One sunny Saturday morning I listened to one of my favorite Needtobreathe songs, Keep Your Eyes Open and felt the chorus speaking straight to me:
‘Cause if you never leave home, never let go
You’ll never make it to the great unknown
That day launched my life down a different, thrilling and beautifully uncomfortable path and now I’m a 20-something full time MBA student living the expat life in Kensington.
I’m an open book, Jesus Christ-following, old soul that loves crisp Fall days, drinking coffee at cabins, football, community, Bethel University, planning my next trip and real conversation.
I share here to remember the details of my ever-changing, ever-wonderful life and I’m glad you’re along for the ride!
